NOUVATAN’s mission is to deliver safe, sunless tans that look and feel amazing. As tan-fans ourselves, we know just how much of a difference a tan can make to how you feel about your appearance. We also know how important it is that your tan doesn’t compromise your skin health. That means avoiding harmful UVA rays and damaging ingredients like parabens, oils and alcohol, and opting for sunless solutions with skin-loving ingredients to achieve your perfect colour.

Our aim is to encourage tan-fans to swap harmful UVA for organic DHA with our natural, nourishing solutions. As we become increasingly aware of the harmful effects and damage that natural UV rays can do to the human skin, more and more people are opting for UV-free sunless tanning. Whether you’re a home tanner or a professional therapist, you can achieve a safe, natural tan in under 10 minutes, with no orange undertone and no harmful ageing effects on the skin.

Tan with a Plan
NOUVATAN is the brainchild of our Founder, Dawn Plummer. A creative thinker and longtime tan lover, Dawn combined her entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for safe, sunless tanning to bring NOUVATAN to life in 2009.
‘I started my tan journey by training as a spray tan therapist; I had moved to a new area and it was a great way to meet people and earn money doing something I loved. Working with spray tan solutions on a daily basis, I soon realised there was a gap in the market for high-quality product that is made and produced in the UK.
That was when I formed a plan; to create a sunless tanning solution made with natural, skin-friendly ingredients, which is manufactured in Britain and sold exclusively to salons. You will never find our products on supermarket shelves or gathering dust in wholesale warehouses. Our UK-based business model allows us to provide our customers with the best products and service, for unbeatable tanning results. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and love seeing the NOUVATAN community growing and thriving’
